These castles were built to extract tolls from river traffic. The guys got rich. Surprise, surprise.
In May, 2010, Louis, Scottie, and Rene Dupuy journeyed to Munich to celebrate Louie's 65th birthday. We spent 5 nights in Munich and 5 in Heidelberg. The Vernons came from Romania to join us for the celebratory weekend in Munich. Wendy and Graham Goodinson came from England to Heidelberg to join us that week.
